Generalized Taylor’s Formula and Steffensen’s Inequality

New Steffensen-type inequalities are obtained by combining generalized Taylor expansions, Rabier and Pečarić extensions of Steffensen’s inequality Faà di Bruno’s formula for higher order derivatives the composition.

Maclaurin’s inequality is a natural, but nontrivial, generalization of the arithmetic-geometric mean inequality. We present a new proof that is based on an analogous generalization of Bernoulli’s inequality.
